Life Coaching

In the early 1980s, two Harvard psychologists conducted a study of people who called themselves happy. And what did happy people have in common? Money? Success? Health? Love? None of these things. What they had in common were two things:
  • they knew what they wanted
  • they felt that they were moving towards achieving it

Our clients use coaching to clarify what is it that they truly want or to understand what’s stopping them from achieving what they know they want to achieve.

And that’s what life coaching is all about: discovering what you want and eliminating limiting beliefs that stop you from getting it. We call it the foundation work. It's a bit like building a house - if you don't get the foundation right no matter how big or pretty you want your house to be it will eventually come crumbling down because the foundation you've built it on is either not right or not strong enough to support it.

Here are some examples of how you can use life coaching:

  • to identify and eliminate limiting beliefs
  • to become more confident and go for things you really want
  • to stop putting up with relationships that are bad for you
  • to create a deeper understanding of self
  • to go through a major transition in your life (e.g. becoming a mum, moving to a new country)
  • to strike a balance between your work and your personal life
  • to simplify your life to create more energy and time for yourself
  • to get unstuck and move forward
